Its not terrible, but to me its just a bit better than some of the free games Ive seen on sites like Kongregate. I probably wouldnt buy it again if given the chance.

This game, although beautiful and the game play from what Ive been able to see is streamlined but it is not worth the price because Ive attempted to play it at least 6 times since buying it last night and it crashes almost every time as soon as you battle the brothers sister, I did make it to the plaza to talk to the captain but it crashed again. These things Im talking about as the very beginning of the game, meaning Ive gotten next to zero play time. I want a refund because this game continues to crash over and over again, my systems are up to date so its a glitch.

The artistry and the environment if the game really takes you away and is beautifully drawn. I sometimes catch myself just staring and admiring the artwork. Music is perfect in setting up the mood. The gameplay is like Child of Light as you fly through a 2d environment and encounter enemies. The battle system is similar as well as you have a selection of moves with different strengths and loading time. Love the game and keep up the good work!

The combat is slow, clunky and generally unimpressive. They manage to give you several attack options to choose from, but tactically minded players will quickly realize there is only one pattern of attacks to use, regardless of what your opponents do. The dialogue reads like someone constructed it from cinder blocks. Characters speak in ways that seem strange given the context, and the words all feel void of any emotion or characterization. For example, during the tutorial the banter between the brother and sister comes off as incredibly awkward. As if the characters had only just met but were told to act a certain way beforehand. The setting is cliché, if not bland. You are a young warrior joining the ranks of an imperial army and eager to prove yourself. Thats really about all there is to the story. I quit when they introduced beast-man characters because I had no interest in playing another JRPG full of literally every trope in the book.

The bad reviews written are a total misrepresentation of the game...I believe either they are competitors who write the review or just Those who find absolutely nothing to write something negative about the game. Its simply put in three words, amazing, beautiful and exciting!!! I am blown out of my mind how creative a company can make a game this complex and sophisticated but yet so easy and fun! Thank you!! I am loving every minute of this game!!

Havent had any issues on iPad Air 2. Fun slow paced game with nice graphics.

This is an EPISODIC game. Meaning there will be a part 2 you will have to pay for at some point. I did NOT know this when buying it. There are good and bad to this game. Some minor bugs but most of the game is put together. There are some things that need re-balancing in-game. Monsters and bosses hard to kill when they are 10-15 levels lower than you, you need better gear but you cant get it because the crafting system is broken and you can only get certain items from bosses which arent available anymore. Some good points are while this is a very generic game I believe the story will be a good one, some dialog is broken and cut scenes, there is NO VOICE ACTING. Only subtitles. It has an interesting upgrade system. The grind is real but its hard because there are LIMITED enemies in each map/zone. You CANNOT replay the zones with new enemies that spawn. Its 1 and done. Ill be honest, I like the game and enjoy it but I am disappointed in a lot about it. That doesnt make it a "bad" game persé but I would be careful BEFORE you buy it. I only gave it a 3 star because of the sketchy way they rope you into buying it for episodes

Sound isnt working, havent played the game yet every time I get past the opening cinematic the game force closes

The game isnt finished but the story was good for the time that your able to play a progressive story still waiting on the other episodes though which is however many 5 bucks is worth and you dont have access to all of the contents yet which doesnt make sense and your level is capped at 30 bored dying and tired of waiting for the rest of the game hurry up or I want my money back sike but hurry up

I would recommend this JRPG to everybody whos a RPG fan. The graphic are amazing and the storyline is great. The developers put a lot of work in making this game. They deserve a round of applause for their awesome work. The characters are well detailed and the game is beautiful.

Some games like this are a gamble. Until you buy and play, you basically have no feel for the game. I went for it with this game - for some reason a price point of $8.99 comforted me... It couldnt be garbage, right? Wrong. This game feels like some lofty investment that missed its release date, so they took what they had and packaged it up with a great marketing ploy that said it was a great, immersive RPG. The truth is that the battle system really has little depth, the characters personalities are vapid and racist, and the storyline accounts for a bunch of different species that dont like each other. On top of everything else, its riddled with bugs that not only crash the game, but can set you back hours (say if the crash occurred at the end of a labyrinth, youd had to start over with nothing to show for it). Its not worth $8.99, maybe if it were $0.99, Id say it was worth it. Id estimate that this game is worth about 10 hours of entertainment, but in the end, youll feel like its 10 hours you can never get back in addition to what you spent for it.

Shuts down after battles, then you must restart from last save.

This game feels like an unfinished cash grab that was shoveled out in a pretty package to attract customers. The combat system is clunky with no descriptions for skills, there are no sound effects at all in battle, and the music, while good, is only played during cutscenes and other key moments. I wish I could get a refund. Completely disappointing.

Runs beautifully on iPad Air 2 9.2.1. Not sure why everyone else is having such a bad time. Dont miss this one, lots of fun for a quirky JRPG. Missed this kind of Turn Based combat terribly. Definitely scratches that itch.

Excruciatingly slow gameplay and almost no game content. Boring. Basically a demo and completely unfinished!

As I began to fall in love with the new classes I unlocked and finally found out what happened to the King of the Geckel, a bomb was dropped on my head saying I have to wait for the next chapter

I play lots of RPGs in iOS format. This game is just terrible. Wait, swipe, wait, swipe, wait, swipe... That is all this game is. There is no imagination. There is no drama. There is no challenge. Just swiping and waiting. I recently bought a bunch of bananas at whole foods that were far too ripe. I have less regret about buying rotten fruit, then I do about purchasing this awful "game." Can I have my money back?

TLDR: Not a full game, only a few hours of gameplay, almost no character costumes available. They claim it is a full scale game, made for the iPhone, but then once you finish three areas, youre booted back to keep redoing a final boss. It claims there are a lot of character modes you can use (alchemist and etc.) but in reality there are only a few accessible. If you dont mind paying $9 for a couple of hours of game play, go for it. You will enjoy this game. But to me it felt a lot more like the "lite" version of other games on the App Store, giving you just enough to make you wish there was more. Unfortunately, it also has the cost of about 4 of the full versions of other games, making it hard to justify.

Love this game so far. The different character classes are fun to play. Cant wait for the release of part 2. Hope they add more side characters as well.

So far Ive gotten pretty into the first chapter of the game! Hoping they release part 2 before Im done. The game is very fun. Really dont understand why some people are grumbling over it. I think its competition? Also the game runs real smooth so those who are upset must have not read the game requirements and using outdated devices? Edit: Ive come to realize that many of the people here are complaining about the game play... But it looks like none of them played past the first areas. Once you get past them this game gets even better and better. Dont let the party poppers who have hated this game since its release stop you from enjoying this gem.
